I was born near Stuttgart in Germany. Faith plays an important role in my life - as a Christian, I consider myself a follower of Jesus Christ and his teachings.
In addition to my faith, I'm passionate about history. I enjoy researching in archives and working on historical projects.
I also enjoy listening to music, playing my Telecaster guitar, and making music with GarageBand.
Since 2023, I've been teaching myself how to code. So far, I've explored a bit of everything: game development, web development, creative coding, Python, Godot, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Turtle, p5.js, Pygame, Strudel, ... I code purely as a hobby in my free time, so I'm definitely not a professional.
I've been playing chess since childhood. Now I play on lichess.org and chess.com low-elo chess.
Occasionally, I also play AoE2.
Most of the time, I call myself 'em-ge' online.
